Clayton Bell, MD

Clayton Bell, MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Clayton is currently a Functional & Integrative Medicine Physician at Forum Health Asheville since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Country Director for Haiti at Humanity First USA, specializing in disaster relief and sustainable community development projects. Clayton also founded and served as President of the philanthropic organization "Where the Stars Still Shine," dedicated to providing medical care and supporting education in developing countries. Additionally, Clayton Bell has a passion for mountain biking and founded Bell & CO MTN Biking. In terms of their medical career, they were a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and an Integrative Medicine Physician at UT Medical Center from September 2016 to January 2022. Clayton also completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2015 and worked as a Family Medicine Resident at Central Maine Medical Center from July 2012 to June 2015, with a special emphasis on Integrative Medicine.

Clayton Bell, MD, completed their education at several institutions. Clayton obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Arkansas from 2003 to 2006. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Beebe High School in 2001.

Dr. Clayton Bell also possesses additional certifications. Clayton became board certified in Integrative Medicine by the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) in May 2017. Clayton obtained their Tennessee State Medical License from the TN Board of Medical Examiners in July 2016. Furthermore, they became board certified in Family Medicine by The American Board of Family Medicine in April 2015.
