Janek Weigl

Janek Weigl has a diverse work experience, starting as an Investment Manager at Stadt- und Kreissparkasse Leipzig from 2000 to 2006. Janek then worked as a Professional Support Lawyer Corporate/M&A Germany at Lovells LLP from 2007 to 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Janek served as the Director of Business Development & Public Relations at RP Richter & Partner. Janek then joined Peters, Schönberger & Partner as the Head of Business Development & Public Relations from 2011 to 2012. Currently, Janek is working at FORUM MEDIA GROUP GMBH, where they have held the positions of Head of FORUM MEDIA Ventures from 2012 to 2016 and is currently the Head of Group Legal, M&A, and Compliance since 2016.

Janek Weigl completed a Diploma in Business Law from DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2008. Janek then pursued a Certificate in English for International Business and Trade from the University of Cambridge in 2001. In 1997 to 2000, they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from Berufsakademie Sachsen (University of Cooperative Education). Finally, in 2010, they attended Deutsche Presseakademie (German Press Academy) for a short-term program and earned a degree as a Communications Manager (depak) with a focus on Public Relations.
