Jessica Shea

Jessica Shea, LCSW has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Forward Counseling since 2012, where they are also the founder of the organization. Jessica has experience as a founder of the Memphis Mushroom Festival since 2019, where they educate the public about mushrooms and their benefits. Additionally, Jessica is the founder and small business consultant at You Can Sit With Us since 2017. Jessica has past experience as a bartender at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar from 2008 to 2013 and as a Therapist at UHS from 2009 to 2012, where they treated dual diagnosis adolescents. Jessica's previous roles also include a clinical social work intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2008 to 2009, a clinical social work intern at the Daybreak Treatment Center in 2008 and 2009, a licensed agent at Bankers Life from 2005 to 2007, and a child care director at the Episcopal Diocese in West Tennessee from 1998 to 2002.

Jessica Shea, LCSW completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
