Debeuf Koert

Debeuf Koert is a distinguished academic and political advisor with extensive experience in governance and conflict resolution. Currently serving as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance and holding positions as a Senior Political Advisor and Senior Political Consultant at Forward Global, Koert has also been a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Centre for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict since December 2015. Previous roles include Director for Europe at The Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy and Editor in Chief at EUobserver. Koert's experience also encompasses project coordination for International IDEA and serving as the ALDE representative to the Arab world at the European Parliament. With a background in philosophy and ancient history from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and KU Leuven, Koert contributes significantly to discussions on democracy and political transitions.
