Troy Moreira

Troy Moreira is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. since February 2022, Troy leads the company in providing innovative insurance solutions. Prior to this role, Troy operated as a self-employed investor and company owner of Mar Nova Holdings, specializing in investment holdings, equities, and private debt since April 2018. Troy's previous tenure as Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Group of Companies from 1996 to 2018 involved transforming the organization from a single product Canadian Managing Underwriting Agency into an international multi-product entity, expanding the staff from fewer than 10 to over 150. Additionally, as Co-Founder of Premier Marine Insurance Managers Group USA Inc., Troy established a yacht insurance managing general agency in the Pacific Northwest. Troy holds an MBA in Marketing from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Management from the University of Guelph.
