Max Geiszler

Max Geiszler has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Max worked at Forward Slope, Inc. as a Chief Engineer, Software Architect, and CI/CD Developer, leading DoD projects and designing AWS cloud solutions. Max also worked as a Naval Reserve Executive Officer at the U.S. Navy Reserve, overseeing training in a reserve operations center. Additionally, Max worked as a Cloud Application Developer at Motorola Solutions, developing a flexible tool for scan compilation. At the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center, Max served as a Network Scanning Information Systems Security Officer, streamlining vulnerability analysis and ensuring compliance with DoD STIGS. Max was also a Full-time Student at the Naval Postgraduate School. Prior to that, Max worked at U.S. Fleet Cyber Command as a Defensive Cyber Operations Staff Officer and Battle Watch Captain, managing Navy networks and enforcing cybersecurity policies. Max's earlier experience includes serving as an Electrical Division Officer and Electronics Maintenance Division Officer in the U.S. Navy, overseeing maintenance and repair of ship electrical systems and managing ship communications systems. Max also worked as a Software Developer and Tester at Oregon State University, developing web applications for the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Max Geiszler completed their education with a Master of Computer Science degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in the field of Computer Software Engineering, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University from 2006 to 2010. Max also holds several additional certifications, including CompTIA Linux+ obtained in May 2020, CISSP obtained in February 2018, and CompTIA Security+ obtained in July 2017.
