Richard Liu began their career in 2019 as a Summer Intern at The Johns Hopkins University, where they researched the property of a new network structure and developed an extra noise elimination block. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at ShanghaiTech University, where they designed the homepage of the research group and researched multitask multiview machine learning tasks. In 2021, Richard Liu worked as a Full Stack Engineer Intern at chemBlink Inc. and as a Research Assistant at Penn State University. At chemBlink Inc., they translated an ASP website to PHP/JavaScript and maintained the connection between the website and database. At Penn State University, they used Android SDK to transfer Caffe network structure and applied pre-trained super-resolution models. In 2022, Richard Liu worked as an AI Developer at MEDA.OOO, where they constructed Lip-Audio synchronization AI on TensorFlow for Unity and Maya Avatar and trained a network for classifying hairstyle based on the celebA dataset. Richard is currently working as a Deployment Engineer at 永动科技 (北京) 有限公司 since 2023.

Richard Liu obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from ShanghaiTech University in 2020. Richard then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at Penn State University, which they are currently enrolled in and expected to complete in 2022. In addition, they obtained a React.js Certification from W3Schools.com in August 2022 and a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera in June 2019.
