Forza Silicon
Daniel Chica has work experience as a Software Engineer at Forza Silicon since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for handling data acquired from image sensors to identify hardware defects and sort products accordingly. Daniel is focused on implementing a Python-based data pipeline and optimizing code efficiency, including developing a Multiprocessing regime for faster results.
Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Data Scientist at GeoSensing starting in February 2022. Daniel conducted image and statistical analysis using real, publicly available satellite data to gain insights into the most effective methods of agricultural cultivation across various terrains.
Daniel Chica began their education in 2012 at Houston Community College, where they pursued a degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Daniel completed their studies there in 2016, earning an Associate of Science - AS degree. Following this, from 2016 to 2020, Daniel attended Caltech, further specializing in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics without pursuing a specific degree during their time there.
