Captain Jan-Olav Storli

Captain Jan-Olav Storli has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as the Administrative Captain of "Lagatun" and Captain of "Trondheim" with Torghatten Midt since January 2019, overseeing the world's first plug-in hybrid car- and passenger ferries. Previously, Captain Storli commanded the historic sail-steam ship "Hansteen" and held various captaincy positions at Fjord1 ASA, including the LNG-powered ferries. A background in public relations management and safety training enhances leadership skills, complemented by formal maritime education from multiple institutions including Ladehammeren Maritime Skole.
