Anders Søborg

Senior Vice President For R&d at FOSS

Anders Søborg has a diverse work experience, starting from being a Presenter at The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, in 2007. Anders then worked as a Social Worker at Det socialpædagogiske opholdssted Tiagrehus from 2005 to 2007. Moving onto their technical roles, they worked as a Study Supervisor at Aalborg University from 2008 to 2010. Later, they took on the role of .Net programmer at Educational Robot Co from 2009 to 2010. Anders also created MonoBrick, a .NET firmware replacement for the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 at MonoBrick from 2012 onwards. Their roles at FOSS from 2010 onwards include positions such as Embedded software developer, C# Software Developer, Scrum Master, Project and People manager for the embedded software department, Vice President for R&D Software, Vice President for R&D Programs, and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for R&D. Additionally, they were a MINDSTORMS Community Partner at LEGO Group from 2010 to 2018.

Anders Søborg completed their Bachelor of Education degree in Math, Physics, Social Science, and gym at Aalborg Seminarium from 2001 to 2005. Anders then earned their M.Sc in Engineering with a focus on control, embedded programming, and electronics from Aalborg University from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, Anders attended Vestjysk Gymnasium Tarm from 1995 to 1997.
