Hong Phuc Dang

Hong Phuc Dang is the founder of FOSSASIA, a leading FOSS community in Asia, established in 2009, and serves as an Executive Board Member of the Open Source Business Alliance since November 2020. Additionally, Hong is a Board Member of the IEEE Open Source Committee and an Advisor at OpnTec GmbH, providing guidance on open source strategies. Experience also includes significant roles at Zalando as a Principal Product Manager and previously as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on developer products and cultivation of open source culture. Prior to Zalando, Hong held project management positions at MBM International and co-founded an eco-travel company. Education credentials include a BA in Communications and Public Relations from Hartford Institute Vietnam and a certificate in Hospitality Management from Disney University Florida.
