Kate Knight's work experience began in 2003 as an MST Worker for Cambridge County Council. Kate then worked as a Senior Social Worker for CAMH from 2005 to 2007. After that, they were a Senior Liaison Social Worker for CAMH - Tier 4 at Cambridge County Council from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Multi-Systemic Worker at CCC. In 2010, they were a Consultant Social Worker at the London Borough of Hackney until 2012. Kate then joined Cambridge County Council again and held various roles including Consultant Social Worker, Team Manager, Group Manager, Service Manager, and Lead Manager for Corporate Parenting, spanning from 2012 to 2021. Kate Knight has an extensive education history. Kate obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Welfare and Social Policy from Anglia Ruskin University in 1999. Following that, they pursued a Diploma in Social Work from the same university, completing it in 2002. In 2003, they attended Cambridge Regional College and obtained an Intermediate counselling certificate in Counseling Psychology. The following year, in 2004, they studied at Homerton, where they completed a course titled "Introduction to working systemically with Children and Families" in the field of Systemic Family Therapy. Kate went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Social Work at King's College London, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy from the Institute of Family Therapy in 2012. Lastly, in 2015, they attended Anglia Ruskin University again and completed a program called "Peps2," earning a degree in Practice Educator.
