Waqas Hassan

Waqas Hassan, CPA, has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. Waqas is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Finance at the City of Foster City since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager at CARMICHAEL WATER DISTRICT from May 2021 to November 2022. From October 2015 to May 2021, Waqas worked as an Accounting Supervisor at the City of Livermore. Waqas gained extensive auditing experience as an Audit Supervisor at Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co., LLP from October 2011 to October 2015, and as an Audit Senior III at Ernst & Young LLP from June 2008 to May 2011.
