Michael Westphal

Michael Westphal, CFA, serves as the Director of Investments at Foster Group since December 2021, contributing to the firm's mission of fostering meaningful and generous lives. Prior to this role, Michael held several positions in the finance sector, including Vice President and Portfolio Manager at PMA from April 2020 to December 2021, and Portfolio Manager and Quantitative Analyst at Miles Capital, Inc. from May 2015 to March 2020. Michael began a career in capital markets as a Capital Markets Analyst at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines and previously worked as a Research Analyst in Strategic Asset Allocation and a Risk Analyst at Aviva Investors. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Iowa State University.
