Honorius Galmeanu

Honorius Galmeanu is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working at FotoNation since October 2024 and serving as a University Lecturer at Transilvania University of Brasov since October 2022. With a long-standing academic career, Honorius has lectured on topics including Statistical Inference for Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Operating Systems at various positions within Transilvania University from 1999 to present. Prior experience includes roles at Tobii and Xperi Inc. where responsibilities centered on engineering compilers for neural networks and developing algorithms for sparse neural networks. Earlier career highlights include research and development at Siemens focusing on Knowledge Graph solutions and leading teams in software engineering and data analysis. Honorius holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov and has completed advanced studies at institutions such as Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Polytech Nantes.
