Anne Gretland has a strong and diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anne currently serves as the Group CEO of FotoWare, a world-leading provider of Digital Asset Management solutions. Prior to this, they held the role of CEO at Picturepark, a FotoWare company.
Anne also has experience in leadership roles in the technology sector. Anne worked at Microsoft for a significant duration, holding various positions such as Leader of SMB Norway and Leader of Corporate Accounts Norway. Anne also served as Leader of Partner Business and Development, Marketing Lead for Anti-piracy, and Director of Software Asset Management and Compliance at Microsoft Norway.
Additionally, Anne has expertise in board leadership and governance. Anne has served as the Chairperson of the Board at Smartminds AS and as a Member of the Board at Kredinor.
Anne's early career includes roles at H&M, where they worked as a Store Manager Assistant and was responsible for the women's department. Anne also gained experience as an Assistant at Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture.
Throughout their career, Anne has demonstrated their leadership abilities, industry knowledge, and commitment to supporting women in the IT industry through their role as Co-founder and Chairwoman of the Board at Oda - Women in Tech Network.
Anne Gretland has a diverse education history. In 2016, they attended BI Norwegian Business School, focusing on Leadership and Human Resource Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1999 to 2000, studying Political Science. Anne also attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1997 to 1998, with a focus on PR/Marketing. Before that, in 1993, Anne Gretland studied Marketing Fundamentals at UCLA. In 1990, they attended Santa Monica College, pursuing Mass Communications.
