Ion Vrabie

Ion Vrabie is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently working in Asset Management at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures since March 2023. Previously, Ion held the position of Area Solar Project Engineer for Iberia & Rest of Europe at Enel Green Power, where responsibilities included leading design activities and supporting business development. With extensive experience as a Senior Commissioning Engineer and O&M Manager at Bester, Ion oversaw the commissioning and operation of photovoltaic plants across Romania, Bulgaria, and the UK. Ion also served as Site Manager and Site Supervisor for various PV projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations. With a solid educational foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnical Systems Engineering, and Management and Engineering of Biotechnology Systems from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Ion Vrabie brings a wealth of technical and managerial expertise to the field of renewable energy.
