Jorge Garrido

Jorge Garrido has a strong background in the renewable energy industry, particularly in operations and maintenance (O&M) and project management. Jorge started their career at Siemens, working in the telecommunication installation department. After that, they joined TDF in the network planning department. In 2003, they moved to Global Energy Services Siemsa S.A., where they held various roles including project manager, construction and maintenance department manager, and solar O&M department manager. Since 2015, they have been working as the head of O&M at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV).

Jorge Garrido's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Tecnico de Telecomunicación with a field of study in Sistemas de Telecomunicación. Jorge completed their undergraduate program in 2001. In 2004, Garrido returned to the same university to pursue a Master's degree in Dirección y Administración de Empresas (MBA), which they completed in 2005. In 2020, Garrido attended IE Business School, where they participated in the Advanced Management Program (AMP). This program lasted until 2021.
