Marisela Montoya

Marisela Montoya is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, currently serving as Chief Program Officer at Foundation Communities since October 2001. Montoya has held various leadership positions within the organization, including Director of Education and Lead Learning Center Coordinator, where responsibilities included program development, staff management, and student data oversight for community-based learning initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Specialist at Austin ISD, focusing on afterschool and summer programs for economically disadvantaged students. Montoya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a certification in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from Austin Community College.
