Benjamin Rubin

Benjamin Rubin has a diverse work experience, primarily focused on training and support in the technical and educational fields. Benjamin most recently worked as a Senior Technical Training and Support Specialist at the Foundation for California Community Colleges starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they were an Instructional Designer at the same organization from September 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Rubin worked as an LMS Administrator at Delta Dental from May 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they maintained curriculum activities and resources, provided user support for the Learning Management System (LMS), and supported eLearning authoring and simulation software.

Rubin's earlier experience includes working as a Project Field Technician at Aerotek from October 2010 to June 2013. Benjamin collected data and conducted surveys related to the impact of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill on recreational areas along the Gulf of Mexico.

Additionally, Rubin worked as a Wildlife Observer at TRS Staffing Solutions for a brief period in 2010 and served as a Teacher Assistant and Information Desk staff member at the University of West Florida from 2008 to 2010. Benjamin also had a role as a Reef Intern at NOAA from April 2008 to September 2008 and worked as a Sea Turtle Nest Monitor for the Department of Fish and Wildlife from May 2004 to August 2008.

Benjamin Rubin began their education journey in the field of General Education at Gulf Coast Community College. After completing their studies there, they pursued Aviation Studies at Santa Fe Community College from 2005 to 2006. Benjamin then transferred to the University of West Florida, where they focused on Marine Biology from 2006 to 2010. No specific degree names are provided for any of their educational experiences.
