Cameron Cowperthwaite has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. They started their career as a Library Page at the Merced County Library in 2009 and eventually became a Library Assistant, with responsibilities including circulation of materials, answering reference questions, and training new staff. Cameron also served high school students at the Delhi Branch Library.

In 2017, Cameron joined the Merced Community College District as a Student Assistant, where they directed underserved students to available resources, maintained the ASMC food pantry program, and handled records for the Associated Students of Merced College.

Since 2019, Cameron has been working at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. They started as a Coordinator for Conferences and Events and later became a Senior Coordinator. Currently, Cameron holds the role of Specialist, responsible for organizing conferences and events.

Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice and an Associate of Science degree in Social Sciences from the same institution.

In terms of certifications, Cameron Cowperthwaite obtained the CVENT Virtual Events Certification from Cvent in July 2022. Cameron also completed the Ethics Training for Local Public Officials (AB1234) from the State of California in July 2018. Furthermore, they successfully completed the POST Basic Police Academy from California POST in December 2015.
