Desiree Mendel

Desiree Mendel, PMP, has an extensive work experience in project management and marketing roles. Desiree is currently working as a Project Services Manager at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Walmart Connect, where they handled brand strategy and creative projects. Prior to that, they worked at HH Global for Google, first as a Marketing Promotions Operations Manager, where they managed global promotions for Google Play, and then as a Marketing Project Manager. Desiree also gained experience as a Media Manager at Palo Alto Networks, where they implemented global demand generation strategies and optimized email newsletters. Before that, they worked at Lumenis as a Marketing & Events Project Manager, where they executed national sales meetings and streamlined customer training programs. Desiree began their career at ArthroCare Corporation, initially as a Marketing Coordinator and later as a Marketing Events Coordinator. Desiree's strong project management skills, coupled with their marketing expertise, make their a valuable asset in driving successful outcomes for organizations.

Desiree Mendel, PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences from San Jose State University. Desiree attended the university from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degree, Desiree also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which they obtained in April 2023 from the Project Management Institute.
