Senior Vice President at Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD)

Lawrence Muscant, CMSA, has extensive work experience in the field of national security and foreign policy. Lawrence served as the Senior Vice President at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies from January 2014. During their tenure, they conducted in-depth research, provided accurate analyses, and identified illicit activities to strengthen the United States. In 2021, Lawrence joined Omnia Family Wealth as a Senior Advisor, where they continue to contribute their expertise and knowledge.

Lawrence Muscant, CMSA, has a diverse education history with a focus on business administration, management, and political science. In 2018 to 2019, they attended the University of Notre Dame, where they pursued studies in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Lawrence completed coursework for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations and Comparative Politics at Carleton University. Lawrence furthered their studies at Carleton University from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science. Earlier in their educational journey, from 1997 to 2000, Lawrence Muscant earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Concordia University. Additionally, from 1995 to 1997, they completed their DEC at CEGEP - John Abbott College, focusing on Creative Arts with a specialization in Communications and Media Studies.

Furthermore, Lawrence has obtained various certifications to augment their knowledge and expertise. In 2020, they received certifications in Capital Markets & Portfolio Management from the New York Institute of Finance and Capital Markets & Securities Analysis from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). In 2009, they also obtained a certification in Professional Fundraising from Boston University.
