Amit Chourey

Amit Chourey is an experienced professional with over a decade of expertise in program management and implementation, particularly in the fields of health, nutrition, and livelihood promotion. Currently serving as Programme Manager at the Foundation For Ecological Security since April 2014, Amit coordinates teams to assist village institutions with project implementation and capacity-building initiatives. Previous roles include District Coordinator with CHAI, where Amit managed the TB project Axshya, and similar positions with the World Food Programme and UNDP, focusing on nutrition and capacity development. Amit's career began at BASIX as a Field Supervisor, followed by positions in enterprise promotion and microfinance. Amit holds a Master of Social Work in Community Development from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya.
