Arturo Portillo

International Programs & Outreach Manager at Foundation for Economic Education

Arturo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, and he is currently enrolled in a Master's degree in International Business. He is also the co-founder of FEE en Español, an initiative that has been successful in reducing economic illiteracy, having educated over 60,000 Spanish-speaking youth in 12 countries.

As a fellow of prestigious organizations such as the Naumann Foundation, Cato Institute, Atlas Network, George Mason University, and State Policy Network. In 2021, he received the National Leadership Award in Mexico for his impact on the defense of liberty through his initiatives Economics in One Lesson and FEE en Español.

He has held various high-profile leadership positions, including the National Director of Students for Liberty from 2017 to 2019 and the Director of International Programs for EsLibertad from 2019 to 2020. He has received recognition for his exceptional leadership skills and has been named one of the top leaders in the network for three consecutive years.

Arturo has delivered over 300 lectures on economics, finance, and business education. He is also a collaborator for various liberal organizations in Latin America and has contributed to numerous research programs and projects.
