Maurice Grier

Maurice Grier is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in law, education, and program coordination. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia School of Law and Program Coordinator for Greater Steps Scholars, which focuses on educational opportunities for students in public assistance housing, Maurice also founded and leads the League of Performing Artists. Previous experiences include roles as a legal intern at NASCAR, Lockheed Martin, and Crowell & Moring LLP, as well as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle, where Maurice implemented tech solutions for public sector efficiency. Maurice's commitment to community engagement is further highlighted by work as a Resident Counselor for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Project Uplift. Maurice holds a Doctor of Law from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
