Aimee Ahmed is the current Director of Development at Foundation for the National Institutes of Health. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director for Philanthropy and Development Strategies at Morehouse School of Medicine from September 2018 to October 2021. In this role, they worked with faculty and internal leadership to secure and grow philanthropic and strategic partnerships. Aimee also engaged corporate, foundation, and individual donors to further Morehouse School of Medicine's mission.
From May 2014 to August 2018, Aimee served as the Director of Development at Georgia State University. In this role, they oversaw all fundraising activities to secure private support in order to advance the school's mission. Aimee also lead the school's efforts to strengthen engagement with its alumni, build new and steward existing relationships with external constituents, and represent the school in the overall development program of Georgia State University.
Aimee has dedicated their career to securing private support for organizations that further health equity. Aimee is a skilled fundraiser and relationship builder who has a proven track record of success in these roles.
