James O'Leary is an experienced leader in scientific partnerships and innovation within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Associate Vice President for Science Partnerships at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health since July 2022, James leads the Accelerating Medicines Partnership, focusing on advancing disease understanding and treatment development, while also enhancing internal operations. Previously, James held the position of Director, Inflammation and Immunity at FNIH, facilitating public-private partnerships to accelerate diagnostics and therapies for autoimmune diseases. At Genetic Alliance, from 2005 to 2018, James fostered innovation as Chief Innovation Officer and managed day-to-day operations as Chief Operating Officer, significantly expanding the organization's outreach and capabilities. James also coordinated volunteer efforts for PA Victory '04 and holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Genetics and Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Delaware.
