Aldin Hilbrands is an accomplished leader in sustainability and aquaculture, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Management Board at Foundation FSSC since May 2015, while also holding the position of Technical Director and Management Board Member. Since February 2017, Aldin has been a Co-Convenor for the Working Group on Sustainability and Co-Chair of the User Advisory Committee at the International Accreditation Forum Inc. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the Stakeholder Advisory Forum at The Consumer Goods Forum and Director of the Aquaculture Program at IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative. Aldin's extensive experience covers various positions related to sustainability, including membership in multiple working groups and boards dedicated to improving aquaculture standards. With a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, Aldin has built a robust career focused on sustainable practices in the food and aquaculture sectors.
