Jim Peterson is a medical professional with extensive experience in family medicine and palliative care. Currently serving as the Medical Director at Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home since January 2018, Jim also works as a nursing home physician and palliative care physician at Foundation Medical Partners, providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Jim's background includes a family physician role with a focus on outpatient palliative care at Southern NH Medical Center, as well as previous positions such as Family Practice Physician at Nashoba Family Medicine and Hospice Medical Director at both Steward Health Care and Nashoba Nursing and Hospice. Jim completed a Family Medicine Residency through the University of Massachusetts Worcester/Fitchburg Coordinated Residency Program and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from UMass Chan Medical School.
