Christian Gertler

Christian Gertler has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Officer in the German Federal Armed Forces for a period of 12 years. In 2010, they transitioned to the German Federal Employment Agency, where they served as a Personnel Officer for a year. In 2011, they joined Ferrero as a Field Sales Representative before moving on to take on various leadership positions at the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. At the medical center, they held the roles of Managing Director for the Center for Cardiology, Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and Preventive Cardiology and Preventive Medicine. Their most recent position was at Foundation Medicine, where they worked as the Senior Director of Business Administration (ppa.) starting in August 2020.

Christian Gertler completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from the University of Bradford from 2007 to 2010. Prior to this, they earned a Magister Artium degree in History and Social Sciences from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg between 2000 and 2004.
