Christopher Scherbel

Christopher Scherbel is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property management and patent prosecution. Currently serving as a Senior IP Paralegal at Foundation Medicine since February 2021, Christopher specializes in developing workflow policies, managing extensive patent practice, and training paralegals. Prior roles include Intellectual Property Manager at Behmke Innovation Group LLC and Parker Ibrahim & Berg LLC, where Christopher oversaw extensive domestic and foreign patent practices and implemented filing strategies in the USPTO. Additionally, experience as an Intellectual Property Assistant at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP and a Senior Patent Assistant at The H.T. Than Law Group further solidified expertise in patent application processes and administrative requirements. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Vermont.
