Emily Almonte

Lead, Clinical Bioinformatics Operations at Foundation Medicine

Emily Almonte began their work experience in 2016 as a Research Assistant at the Environmental Biology Laboratory in the University of Parma. Emily'sresponsibilities included preparing test environments and assisting with data collection using microscopic techniques. In 2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Biology Department at Boston College, where they developed code in R to format data. Emily then moved on to the MEMO Neuroscience Lab, where they continued their research assistant role and focused on memory and brain studies. In 2018, Emily joined Foundation Medicine as a Clinical Bioinformatics Analyst and later became a Clinical Bioinformatics Analyst II. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Clinical Bioinformatics Operations at Foundation Medicine.

From 2014 to 2018, Emily Almonte attended Boston College. Emily studied Biology with a concentration in Bioinformatics.
