Jay Briedis

Jay Briedis has over 17 years of work experience in various software engineering and technical management roles. Jay is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Foundation Medicine since July 2020. Prior to this, Jay worked at Tripadvisor for 13 years, starting as a Software Engineer in August 2007 and progressing to the roles of Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Technical Manager - Hotels, and Senior Software Engineer - Instant Booking. Before Tripadvisor, they worked as a Senior UI Engineer at Third Screen Media from October 2006 to August 2007 and as a User Interface Developer at Verizon from February 2005 to October 2006. Jay also gained experience as a Research Engineer Intern at Nokia Research Center in the summer of 2004.

Jay Briedis holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tufts University, which they earned from 2002 to 2004. Jay also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Connecticut College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
