Jeffrey MacKay

Jeffrey Mackay, MBA, FMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeffrey currently holds the position of Vice President, Facilities and Real Estate at Foundation Medicine, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Vice President, Facilities, Real Estate and Supply Chain from May 2019 to May 2021.

Before joining Foundation Medicine, Jeffrey worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals where they served as the Senior Director, Global Operations from February 2018 to May 2019. Jeffrey also held the position of Director of Facilities and Property Services, North America from July 2013 to February 2018.

Jeffrey'scareer began in 2002 at Palladion Services, LLC, where they worked as an Account/Operations Manager until December 2005. Jeffrey then joined Continuum as an Operations Manager until 2007, followed by a role as a Senior Real Estate Analyst at Medtronic until 2008.

In 2008, they joined AIG as a Regional Manager, Facilities and Office Services before moving on to Pfizer in 2009 where they worked as a Manager, Global Operations until 2011. Jeffrey's last role before joining Vertex Pharmaceuticals was at Agile OAK LLC, where they served as a Senior Consultant from 2011 to 2013.

Throughout their career, Jeffrey has demonstrated expertise in facilities management, real estate, supply chain, and global operations. Jeffrey'sdiverse experience and successful track record make him a valuable asset in their current role.

Jeffrey Mackay, MBA, FMP has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and American Studies from Brandeis University, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Jeffrey went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School from 2005 to 2007. Jeffrey also completed various certifications related to construction management, including Construction Management: Safety & Health, Construction Management: Technology on the Jobsite, Construction Management Foundations, and others from LinkedIn, with completion dates ranging from 2021 to 2023. In addition, they obtained the Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification from IFMA and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from MoreSteam.
