Mark Rinker

Mark Rinker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Foundation Medicine, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Mark worked at Oracle Corporation as a Principal Applications Engineer from 2010 to 2022, focusing on designing and supporting SaaS products for clinical trials. Mark was also a Principal Software Engineer at Phase Forward before its acquisition by Oracle.

From 2008 to 2009, Mark worked as a Senior Application Developer at BigBad, Inc., where they led website development projects and supervised teams. Earlier in their career, they worked at American Student Assistance as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the development of an enterprise application and leading performance improvement projects.

Mark's work experience also includes positions at Comtrol Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, Sapient as a Software Engineer, New York Life as a Software Engineer, and Bechtel as an Assistant Materials Engineer.

Mark Rinker holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992.
