Samantha Flaxman Patten

Samantha Flaxman Patten, CPA has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Samantha started their career as a Management Trainee Intern at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2010. In 2011, they worked as an Intern at Clean World Capital. From 2012 to 2017, they held various roles at athenahealth, including Accounting Analyst, Accounting Associate, Senior Accounting Associate, and Accounting Manager. In 2017, Samantha joined Foundation Medicine as a Senior Staff Accountant and subsequently progressed to roles such as Accounting Manager, Chief of Staff, Corporate Management (Rotation), Assistant Controller, and currently, Director of Finance. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in financial management and accounting.

Samantha Flaxman Patten, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Finance from Questrom School of Business, Boston University in 2012. Samantha also holds additional certifications including FMI Manager as Coach from Hudson Institute of Coaching, obtained in 2021, and a CPA certification from the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy, obtained in 2020.
