Tej Grewal

Tej Grewal has extensive work experience across various industries and roles. Starting from 2022, Tej works as a Vice President of Portfolio and Program Management at Foundation Medicine. Prior to this, they worked at Roche from 2015 to 2022, where they held positions such as Transformation and Program Office Lead and Head of PMO. From 2012 to 2015, Tej was employed at SSL (Space Systems Loral), serving as the Head of Factory Management and Department Manager, among other roles.

Before joining SSL, they co-founded and worked as the Principal at G-S Associates, LLC, providing global management support and analysis to small and medium-sized companies. Tej also gained experience at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. as the Director of Business Development and held multiple positions at General Motors Corporation, including Director of Asia Pacific Manufacturing Strategy and Planning and Manager of Product and Technology Planning.

Tej's career started at the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme as an Assistant Language Teacher. Additionally, they had a brief role at BankBoston as an SSA. Overall, Tej Grewal has a diverse professional background, focusing on program management, business development, and strategy planning.

Tej Grewal holds a Masters degree in International Management with a focus on Asia, which was obtained from Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, Tej Grewal completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Asian Studies at Skidmore College from 1989 to 1993. In addition, Tej Grewal has obtained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist in 2020 and as a Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager in 2021, both from Scaled Agile, Inc.
