Andy Grant

Andy Grant is an accomplished professional in sports education and coaching, currently serving as the Head of Education and Football and Sunderland Women’s Academy Manager at the Foundation of Light since June 2018. With extensive experience, Andy has held various roles, including consultant at Andy Grant Consultancy, where responsibilities spanned international representation on sports qualification policy and coaching development. Prior to this, significant contributions were made as Head of Coach Education at UK Coaching, leading strategy and operational planning. Andy's diverse background includes coaching positions in prestigious organizations such as Hartlepool United Football Club, Bishop Auckland, and Sunderland AFC. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Sporting Directorship from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's in Sport Science from Liverpool John Moores University, alongside other notable academic achievements.
