Lynn Echols has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Lynn began their career as a Paramedic and Nursing Technician at Emory University Hospital in 2001. Lynn then worked as a Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse at Northeast Georgia Health System from 2005 to 2009.
In 2009, Lynn joined Habersham Medical Center as the Director of the Emergency Department, Respiratory Services, Case Management, Coding, and Urgent Care. During their tenure, they successfully implemented a hospital-wide emergency health record system, improved efficiencies through Lean Six Sigma principles, and built a strong and high-retention employee culture.
In 2015, Lynn moved to Mission Health as the Director of Acute and Critical Care Inpatient Services. Lynn was responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, operations, quality, compliance, and team leadership. Lynn introduced Lean principles, employee engagement initiatives, and new programs to enhance patient care.
Lynn's next role was at Foundations Recovery Network in 2017, where they served as the Chief Nursing Officer and Infection Prevention Coordinator at Black Bear Lodge Treatment Center. Lynn built an exceptional nursing team and implemented an effective infection prevention program. Lynn also utilized Lean principles to drive improvements and efficiency initiatives throughout the facility.
In the same year, Lynn was promoted to Chief Executive Officer at Black Bear Lodge Treatment Center and later took on the role of CEO at Foundations Recovery Network. As CEO, they were responsible for driving revenue increases, patient safety, positive health outcomes, and patient satisfaction across multiple facilities. Lynn led all aspects of the treatment centers, including financial management, operations, business development, quality control, and human resources. Lynn implemented key initiatives such as process improvements, patient advocacy, labor control, and becoming a preferred provider with major insurance carriers.

Lynn Echols obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Brenau University in 2002-2005. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Lynn earned a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from Piedmont University. Additionally, Lynn has obtained various certifications including BLS, ASLS from the American Heart Association, Certified Master TEAMSTEPPS Instructor from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and NIMS and Disaster Readiness Certifications from the Georgia Department of Emergency Preparedness. Lynn also holds an RN Compact License from the State of Georgia.
