Megan Cherney Westcott

Megan Cherney Westcott, CPA has a wealth of experience in the accounting and finance field. Megan began their career in 2007 as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings. Megan then held an internship at XR Trading in 2011 and at FGMK, LLC in 2012. During this time, they were also a S.A.I.L. Tutor at The University of Arizona. In 2013, they held an internship at EY as a FSO Tax Services Intern and returned to EY in 2014 as a Financial Services Tax Senior. In 2017, they became a Senior Associate of Accounting and Finance at Home Partners of America. In 2019, they held two roles at Friedman Properties, Portfolio Accounting Manager and Senior Portfolio Accountant, and also worked as a Fitness and Nutrition Coach at Chicago Elite Fitness. In 2020, they became the Accounting Services Manager at Founder's CPA.

Megan Cherney Westcott, CPA has an extensive education history. Megan obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University between 2013 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Global Business from the University of Arizona between 2009 and 2013. Megan also completed a Study Abroad Spring 2012 program in Accounting at the University of Westminster in 2012. In addition to their educational background, Megan has obtained various certifications, including a Gusto Payroll Certification from Founder's CPA in October 2022, a Certified Nutrition Coach from Working Against Gravity in July 2020, a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate from CrossFit Education in October 2019, and a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Illinois.
