Mark Doherty

Mark Doherty is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and philanthropic initiatives. Currently serving as an Investment Committee Member at Founders Pledge and a Board Member at The L.B. Research and Education Foundation, Mark has held significant roles including Senior Director of Investments at The San Francisco Foundation and Board Member of the Global Challenges Local Solutions Fund. Previous positions include Operations Director at UK Community Foundations and Director of Investments at Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Mark's early career also includes roles at Wells Fargo Private Bank, Citi Private Bank, and Bank of America. Mark holds an MA in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA in Political Science from Colorado College.
