Dana Spiegel has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2001. In 2001, they were the Executive Director of NYCwireless, a non-profit organization that advocates and enables the growth of free, public wireless Internet access in New York City and surrounding areas. In 2012, they founded FounderTherapy, a professional co-founding, advisory, product development, engineering, business strategy, and problem-solving company. Also in 2012, they became an instructor and product and software developer at The Hatchery. In 2013, they became the CTO and advisor of VOIQ, a company that provides SMBs and enterprises with an on-demand callforce. In 2014, they became the CTO of ORGANIZE.org, a startup at the intersection of public health and tech. In the same year, they became a mentor at Startupbootcamp. In 2010, they became a product and engineering consultant and advisor at WorkMarket, an ADP company. In 2018, they became the CTO of Lucid Green. Finally, in 2019, they became a board member and advisor at MIT Delta V (NYC Startup Studio).

Dana Spiegel received their Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1999, majoring in Brain and Cognitive Science and Artifical Intelligence. Dana then went on to receive their Master of Science degree from the same institution in 2001, majoring in Sociable Media.
