Nancy Kitterman is a Senior Real Estate Manager for Foundry Commercial in Raleigh, North Carolina. With over thirteen years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate, Nancy has a demonstrated track record for results. Nancy currently manages University Place, a 375,000 square foot life-style shopping center in Chapel Hill North Carolina. She joins the Foundry Team having served the project in various roles for the past nine years. During that time, Nancy has been involved in all aspects of the strategic planning, re-development, renovations, management, leasing and re-branding of University Place. She has been involved in securing over 125,000 square feet of new leases for the project.
Prior to working on the re-development of University Place, Nancy spent four years at Scientific Properties, a real estate development company focused on urban, adaptive, and historic, re-use projects in downtown Durham, North Carolina. Nancy served as Senior Leasing Associate and Property Manager Associate for the Scientific Properties portfolio consisting of over a million square feet. In addition, Nancy was Director Programming at Golden Belt, developing cultural arts programming for the campus.
Before beginning a career in commercial real estate, Nancy spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry with numerous restaurant management and consulting roles in New York City, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Her role as restaurant design and development consultant to Rafael Vinoly Architects for the café at Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University was especially fulfilling as a project that brought together her passion for food, art, design, and real estate development.
