Khurram Z. Chhipa

Khurram Z. Chhipa, Esq. is a legal professional with experience in various areas of law. Khurram Z. began their legal career in 2010 as an Associate in the Corporate & Securities Group at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where they negotiated agreements up to $4 billion. In 2012, they became an Attorney in In-house Advising & Consulting, providing legal services to publicly-traded financial services, banking, and distribution/supply chain companies. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Attorney in Compliance & General Corporate at Axiom, contracted by multibillion-dollar institutions to help in-house leadership teams form legal and compliance solutions. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as an Associate in the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley, serving on a documentation team and helping the firm follow best industry practices and adhere to new regulations. In 2020, they became Legal Counsel at Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company, providing North American miners and manufacturers with the resources to build, maintain, and secure decentralized networks. In 2021, they became a Charter Member - DeputyGC at TechGC.

Khurram Z. Chhipa, Esq. received their Doctor of Law (JD) from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (cum laude) from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005, majoring in Marketing and Criminal Justice. Khurram Z. also attended the Rochester Institute of Technology's Saunders College of Business. In 2010, they obtained a license as an Attorney-2nd Appellate Division of New York from the New York State Unified Court System.
