Eric Verdin

Eric Verdin serves as the CEO and President of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging since November 2016. Additionally, Eric has held the position of Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco since 1998. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Investigator and Associate Director at Gladstone Institutes from 1997 to November 2016, as well as Associate Professor at the Picower Institute from 1993 to 1997. Eric also contributed to the National Institutes of Health as a Fellow from 1990 to 1993. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Liège, supplemented with postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School.
