Shota Z. has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and engineering management.

Starting in 2008, Shota worked as an IT Specialist at Societe Generale, where they administered Windows and Linux systems, as well as Microsoft SQL Database server and VMware environments. They then moved to PGI as a Network and Database Administrator, where they designed and implemented IT technologies and managed budgets, as well as performed server installation and maintenance.

In 2009, Shota joined Nokia as a Senior Computer Engineer, responsible for implementing and maintaining Nokia radio network solutions across Europe and South America. They also provided technical support and conducted advanced troubleshooting using network monitoring tools.

From 2015 to 2017, Shota worked at PCIT as a Lead Project Engineer, overseeing complex projects, identifying opportunities for automation, and collaborating with project managers to optimize budgets.

In 2017, Shota joined Intelex Technologies Inc. as an Implementation Engineer. They designed and implemented complex solutions in AWS and Azure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins. They also drove efficiency through automation and orchestration.

In 2020, Shota moved to BFA Industries as a DevOps/SRE Manager, where they played a crucial role in managing the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams.

In 2021, Shota worked as a DevOps Manager at SimplyOn and LiveSwitch Inc., building successful product-oriented teams and implementing effective development processes.

Currently, Shota is an Engineering Manager at Fountain, utilizing their extensive experience in software engineering and management to lead a team.

Shota Z. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at Georgian Technical University from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Systems and Networks at the same university from 2007 to 2009.
