Truda Spruyt

Truda Spruyt has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Truda is currently working as the Managing Director at Four Agency Worldwide since February 2020, where they lead the culture specialist team and handles strategy and integrated communications campaigns for various cultural and creative industries. Truda also holds the position of Trustee at Theatres Trust since October 2019.

Prior to their current roles, Truda served as the Chair of The Philosophy Foundation from March 2016 to March 2022, where they chaired the trustees of the organization. Truda also worked as a Trustee at The Philosophy Foundation from March 2015 to February 2016.

Truda has a strong background in PR and marketing, having previously worked as a Director at Four Culture from March 2000 to February 2020, directing PR and digital campaigns for various arts projects. Truda also held the position of Publicity and Marketing Manager at Phaidon Press from September 1996 to March 2000, and Publicity and Rights Manager at Reaktion Books from June 1995 to August 1996.

Truda began their career as a Publicity Executive at Routledge from February 1993 to June 1995, and as a Marketing Assistant at Nottingham Playhouse in 1992.

Truda Spruyt attended King Edward VI School in Retford from 1982 to 1988. Truda then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English from the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1992.
