Mary Jo Powers

Mary Jo Powers has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Mary Jo most recently worked as the Director of Home Care at Four Seasons. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of Homeward Bound of WNC, where they provided strategic leadership and direction to a $5M nonprofit focused on ending homelessness. Mary Jo also managed a team of six directors and 55 staff members. Mary Jo's earlier experience includes positions at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus, where they served as the CEO and COO, overseeing all aspects of operations, including budget and program delivery systems.

Mary Jo Powers has a degree in Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sociology from Appalachian State University. Mary Jo also has a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
