Abigail Kaplan

Abigail Kaplan has a diverse range of work experience. Abigail is currently working as a Senior Data Integrity Specialist at Foureyes, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Confluence Environmental Center as an Environmental Program Specialist at Reynolds Learning Academy from September 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they supervised high school students in a youth service learning program, focusing on wetland restoration and invasive species removal projects. Abigail also analyzed student attendance data to track program success.

Before their position at Confluence Environmental Center, Abigail worked as a Rock Climbing Instructor at Alapocas Run State Park from June 2019 to August 2019. Their responsibilities included engaging participants in climbing activities, facilitating outdoor activities for camp groups, and ensuring safety through careful setup and supervision.

From September 2016 to May 2019, Abigail held various roles at Hamilton College. Abigail served as the Head Route Setter/Climbing Wall Staff, where they supervised the climbing wall, trained staff members, and maintained equipment. Abigail also worked as a Peer Tutor, providing assistance in physics and mathematics to fellow students and leading review sessions. Additionally, they served as a Physics Department Grader from January 2018 to December 2018.

Abigail also has research experience. Abigail worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Rochester from May 2018 to August 2018, where they wrote code and tested optimization procedures for the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI). Abigail also worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from May 2017 to August 2017.

Prior to their college and research experiences, Abigail worked as a Ropes Course Instructor at Westtown School from April 2015 to August 2016.
